Embrace Life Campaign

The Embrace Life campaign was inspired by the overturning of Roe v Wade in June 2022. Leading up to and following this monumental pro-life victory, it was apparent that many people, even those who are pro-life, believed that abortion would cease to be legal in all 50 states, and that without legalized abortion, women would suffer and die unnecessarily or be forced to raise children alone.

Many believed that elective abortion needed to be legal because they thought a woman in an unexpected pregnancy would have no other options, or that elective abortion needed to be available for mothers in life-threatening situations. Such misleading information was being perpetuated throughout the media by the pro-abortion lobby.

To counter this misinformation and educate the public regarding such sensitive topics as miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy and life-saving care for the mother, a committee of DCRTL members gathered to plan a newspaper ad that would lay out a vision for a post-Roe culture of life. It soon became clear to us that a newspaper ad would not suffice—changing hearts and minds would require a comprehensive and coordinated marketing campaign. From this vision, the Embrace Life Campaign was born.

The first step of the Embrace Life Campaign is to highlight all the options available to a woman in an unexpected pregnancy. While educating the community about their options, we will also address that a mother with a life-threatening condition can still receive life-saving treatment in a state where abortion is illegal. Without taking this crucial first step to educate on these two matters, people are less likely to be open to our message on why abortion should be illegal.

With that goal in mind, the committee formed a multi-prong approach to reach people of every age and background. Below are the ways we will be spreading the message of LIFE:

  • Billboards
  • Door Hangers
  • Print Ads
  • Social Media Ads
  • Bumper Magnets and Stickers
  • Brochures
  • Radio Ads
  • Music Streaming Ads
